This month we talked to Dave Thorpe, who can usually be found at RAMA events with camera in hand. We decided to pull him from behind the camera and into the spotlight. Who do you work for and what do you do? I am the VP of Marketing for Giant Tiger Stores in Ottawa, Canada.
What was your first job? Gas Bar Attendant....my very first customer drove away with the gas pump nozzle still attached to her car.
What internet site do you surf to the most? Linked In - with the amazing network of clever business people it’s invaluable time for me to learn and grow.
Name 3 things you think will become obsolete in ten years. Land lines, physical media and paper billing.
What is the first thing you think of when you wake in the morning? Time to wake up the kids for school (and I need coffee....).
If you owned a CB radio what would your "handle" be? Tiger Dave
